I was a passenger on the delivery flight of ZK-AML Aotearoa II leaving Southampton 27th November arriving Auckland December 7th 1949 a ten day trip. My father was part of a group of ten engineers from the Bristol Aircraft Co flown to New Zealand to assist with the training of Kiwi engineers.
Along with the engineers my mother and I were the only passengers.
I do have a photo of the engineers with their names on the back, if it is of any interest.
